Award amount is $4,556,156.48** Questions Due Date: Apr 8th 2024, 4:00 PM EDT The Project includes the following Work: Installation of stormwater inlets and piping to improve drainage and reduce flooding in and around the Ridge Road/West Chocolate Avenue intersection in Hershey, PA. The Project includes approximately 1,800 LF of storm sewers, 50 new inlets or manholes, crossings of existing utilities, a creek outfall, and pipe boring/jacking beneath a railroad. Bid security in the form a Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be furnished with the Bid in an amount not less than 10%. This Project falls under The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania enacted Act 127 of 2012, known as the Public Works Employment Verification Act ( the Act ), which requires all public work contractors and subcontractors to utilize the Federal Government s E-Verify system to ensure that all employees performing work on public work projects are authorized to work in the United States. All Bidders are required to submit a Public Works Employment Verification Form as a precondition for the Contract Award.
