Renovation of a mixed-use development in East Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Grinding out existing CMU joints and re-pointing. Pressure washing existing wall surfaces and providing two (2) coats of elastomeric coating., as shown on Contract Documents prepared by Kenyon & Associates Architects, Inc. Instructions to Bidders are included as part of and binding on the Contract that will exist between the Owner and the successful Bidder The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. Work shall start June 3, 2024, and be substantially complete by August 2, 2024. Not less than the prevailing rate of wages shall be paid to all laborers, workmen and mechanics performing work on this project, within the meaning of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/0.01, et seq.). Every bid shall be accompanied by bid guarantee consisting of bid bond, certified check or cashier's check made payable to Riverview Community Consolidated School Dist. #2, in amount often percent (10%) of the Base Bid. Failure of bidder to submit bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in amount to cover proposals bid upon is cause for rejection of his bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory surety performance, labor and material payment bond in the full amount of the contract price, within ten (10) days after contract is presented to him for signature Submit all questions about the architectural drawings and specifications to the Architect. Interpretations or corrections will be issued as Addenda. The Architect and Owner will not be responsible for oral clarification. Questions received less than seventy-two hours before the bid opening cannot be answered
