Site work for a civil project in Sarasota, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The City of Sarasota is soliciting bids for Force Main and Water Line Replacement at Lift Station #47 and AC Force Main and Replacement at Lift Station #59 and South Lodge Drive. Pricing shall include all labor, material, equipment, testing, tax, overhead, and profit necessary to install, construct, and place into service the items described in this bid to provide a complete and functional system ready for use by the City. The selected Contractor shall complete the projects in the following sequence: 1. LS#47 FORCE MAIN & WATER LINE REPLACEMENT 2. LS #59 AC FORCE MAIN & S. LODGE DR. AC WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT Question Deadline 04/08/2024 at 5:00 PM ET Scope of Work 1. Finish grade sub-soil. 2. Cut out areas to receive stabilizing base course materials for paving and sidewalks. 3. Place, finish grade and compact topsoil Scope of Work: 1. The work specified in this section consists of designing, providing, maintaining and removing temporary erosion and sedimentation controls as necessary. 2. Temporary erosion controls include, but are not limited to, grassing, mulching, setting, watering, and reseeding on-site surfaces and spoil and borrow area surfaces and providing interceptor ditches at ends of berms and at those locations which will ensure that erosion during construction will be either eliminated or maintained within acceptable limits as established by the FDEP. 3. Temporary sedimentation controls include, but are not limited to silt dams, traps, barriers, and appurtenances at the foot of sloped surfaces which will ensure that sedimentation pollution will be either eliminated or maintained within acceptable limits as established by the Engineer. 4. Contractor is responsible for providing effective temporary erosion and sediment control measures during construction or until final controls become effective.
