Site work for a mixed-use development in Vale, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; and water / sewer project.
Lincoln County Schools is accepting bids to replace the HVAC loop water piping and insulation at the following site: North Brook Elementary School 642 Highway 274 Vale, NC 28168 All permits and licenses necessary shall be secured and paid by the bidder Removal and disposal of all HVAC loop water piping and insulation Installation of new HVAC loop water piping and insulation Base Bid Contractor shall utilize schedule 40 black steel pipe. Fittings 2 1/2 " and larger shall be welded and fittings 2" and smaller shall be threaded. Alternate Bid, Contractor shall provide add/deduct price to utilize piping system as manufactured by Aquatherm. Contractor shall verify system quote in this alternate is listed for use on systems containing water and operating at a temperature of 200 degrees Fahrenheit and a system pressure of 125 pounds. Removal and replacement of electrical wiring and fixtures (base bid price should include the removal of 100- 2x4 fluorescent lay in fixtures and the purchase and install of 100- 2x4 LED flat panel 5000K fixtures) Ceiling tile and grid removal and replacement Provide onsite dumpster for discarded materials New insulation shall consist of 1" thick ("polyiso") on pipe mains and 1" thick (K-Flex) on branch lines.
