LOCATION Bridge No. 231 St. Paris Pike is located approximately 4 miles northwest of Springfield, Ohio between Upper Valley Pike and Hominy Ridge Road. The project consists of replacing the existing steel beam bridge on existing abutments. PLEASE NOTE: BIDS DELIVERED/ RECEIVED AFTER THE SUBMITTAL TIME (EXACTLY 10:15 A.M. Fabrication of the steel beams must be from an approved fabricator in accordance with the Ohio Department of Transportation Office of Material Management for Structural Steel Members (Supplement 1078) CMS 513.03 Level 3 Fabricator. Conditional bids will not be accepted. Prime contractor must perform not less than 50% of the contracted work with their forces. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be in the full amount of the bid. The bond must be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Bid security furnished in the form of a certified check or cashier's check, shall be equal to 10% of the bid. Checks should be made payable to the Board of Clark County Commissioners.
