Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Haverstraw, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Questions regarding the Project shall be submitted no later than April 1, 2026, and answers will be provided by April 7, 2026. There will lbe no pre-bid walk through; Contractors may visit the site independently. Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises are encouraged to submit bids. The Project, located between Broadway and Jefferson Street, consists of the design and construction of a public plaza with pedestrian walkways, seating walls, lighting, site furnishings, and landscaping. Contract Term: May 2026 to October 2026 CR#: 2133235 This project is funded in part through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and the New York State Urban Green Space Grant Program. Contractors shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local requirements associated with these funding sources. Project Schedule and Commencement of Work The Project is anticipated to occur in calendar year 2026. The Owner intends to issue the Notice to Proceed (NTP) in May 2026. Upon issuance of the NTP, the Contractor may immediately begin submittals, procurement, and coordination activities. Physical on-site construction shall begin, anticipated in Summer 2026. Substantial Completion of the Work shall be achieved no later than September 30th , 2026, and Final Completion no later than October 31st 2026. All Work shall be completed within the 2026 calendar year Bids will be received for Contract No. 1 - General Construction. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by Bid security, as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) prescribed in the Bidding Documents.
