Renovation of a detention facility in Waynesboro, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
**As of May 17, 2024 project has been awarded to PROLOGIC ITS (Acworth) with the amount of $264,814.47.** Security and Video Monitoring Upgrades. The County is not responsible for any costs incurred by the vendor in the preparation of proposals or presentations given. All expenses incurred by the vendor's pursuit of this award shall be borne by the vendor. All proposals should be based on but not limited to the following specifications for the Burke County Detention Center with regards to replacing all existing cameras with high-definition IP cameras and adding IP cameras to address other needs and improvements to all areas identified by the Burke County Sheriff's Office. Burke County reserves the right to reject any and all bids at its discretion. All interested bidders are expected to comply with the outlined specifications and provide detailed information in their proposals.
