Renovation of a municipal facility in Waynesboro, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Burke County Board of Commissioners is currently soliciting proposals from qualified Vendors who specialize in HVAC System Replacement and Installation, for the Burke County Detention Center pods. Detention Center Pods Units Replacement 1. There are a total of 6 ground condensing units and 7 MERV 13-rated air handling units serving the Detention Center Pods that are approaching the end of their expected service life. 2. Replace units with DX units with variable speed units that provide humidity control, part load compressor, and fan modulation to use less energy and provide better occupant comfort. 3. Shut down the existing units and recover the refrigerant. 4. Disconnect and remove the ground units and air handlers. Any questions should be directed to Austin Miettunen at (706) 554-2133. Burke County reserves the right to reject any and all bids at its discretion. All interested bidders are expected to comply with the outlined specifications and provide detailed information in their proposals
