SUNY Oneonta Alumni Field House-Update Controls The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids. All work on this Contract is to be completed by October 15, 2024. The last day for questions or requests for clarification regarding the contract documents is 3/22/24 by 2:00pm. Wage Schedules can be accessed online using PRC # 2024002613 at website . If the Contractor is unable to access the prevailing wage schedule for the PRC# listed above, please contact the University for a copy of the wage rate schedule. Liquidated Damages In the event that the Contractor shall fail to substantially complete all the work within the time fixed for such completion on page one of this agreement, or within the time to which such completion may have been extended or in the event that the Contractor abandons the work and the same is not substantially completed within the aforesaid time for such completion, the Contractor must pay to the University as damages for each calendar day of delay in completing the work the amount set forth on page one of the Contractors proposal, as stated on page one of this agreement. . In view of the difficulty of accurately ascertaining the loss which the University will suffer by reason of delay in completion of the work hereunder, said sum is hereby fixed and agreed as liquidated damages which the University will suffer by reason of such delay and not as a penalty. The University may deduct and retain out of the monies which may become due hereunder to the Contractor the amount of any such liquidated damages and, in case the amount which may become due to the Contractor under the provisions of the Contract may be less than the liquidated damages suffered by the University, the Contractor shall pay the difference, upon demand, to the University. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid.
