The first component of the fee proposal shall include a proposed not-to-exceed amount to perform preconstruction services, to be compensated on a time and materials basis with the preconstruction period from May 22, 2024, through the start of construction. At the conclusion of preconstruction, the contractor will propose a Guaranteed Maximum Price ("GMP") for the project, which District administration will present to the Board of Trustees for approval. The Scope of Work includes but is not limited to the demolition of the existing Garden Valley Cafeteria and Administration Buildings and the construction of new Multipurpose and Administration Buildings. The Multipurpose Building will include a full cooking kitchen, a raised stage, and a half basketball court. The new administration building will include offices, workspaces, a large meeting room, and restrooms. There will be site work to upgrade underground utilities. The project will also include a new parking lot.
