Site work for a water / sewer project in Butler, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project shall generally include design, permitting, and construction of various sanitary sewer improvements including replacement and abandonment of select gravity sewer pipes and manholes to reduce inflow and infiltration, replacement of Pump Station Nos. 1 and 4 with new duplex submersible systems, replacement of Pump Station No. 2 with new duplex two-stage suction lift system, replacement of four sanitary sewer force mains, and associated electrical, structural, and HVAC improvements. Pipe replacement shall be completed through open trench and trenchless (pipe bursting and horizontal directional drilling) methods. Work will also include replacement of an existing stream culvert to address ongoing erosion concerns.
