Summit Township Municipal Building, located at: 502 Bonniebrook Road, Butler, PA 16002 . A general scope of work will include: Design-build site development and construction for a new facility for the Summit Township municipality. Awarded bidder is responsible for the permit drawings and documents that are required to be completed for both the land development and the building. Site construction includes but is not limited to grading the site for parking and building areas, utility connections, paving and striping, light installation. Building construction includes but is not limited to foundations, erection of pre-engineered metal building (PEMB), and interior build-out. This project includes the construction of a new municipal building that includes an office area and a garage area. site improvements to include new parking areas and signage Bidding Documents will not be issued directly to sub-bidders. -- Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $200.00 per calendar day/per contract. -- Prevailing wage rates apply to this contract. - Proposals must be submitted upon the forms within the specifications. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract, along with Public Liability and Property Damage Certificates of Insurance in the amounts specified, as well as Certificates of Workman's Compensation must be filed with the executed Agreement. Proposals must be accompanied with a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, made to the order of the Summit Township Municipality in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Proposal as a guarantee that, if the Proposal is accepted, the successful Bidder will enter into an Agreement within 15 days after Notice of the Award of the Contract. The Proposals shall remain firm for a period of sixty (60) days. No Bidder may withdraw his Proposal during the sixty (60) day period without forfeiting his Bid Guarantee.
