Roadway Resurfacing Project The Town of Surfside Beach is soliciting bids from qualified bidders for a round of appx. 2.7 miles of road resurfacing. All requirements are contained in the specification package. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee of not less than FIVE (5%) PERCENT of the base bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance Bond and Labor & Material Bond, each in the full amount of the contract sum. Refer to other bidding requirements described in Document 00200 - Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities and technicalities in bidding and to award the contract in the best interest of the Owner. Bidders shall not be permitted to withdraw bids for a period of sixty (60) days from the opening date. The bond shall be issued from a surety approved to operate in the State of South Carolina and have a "raised" seal. Payment Bond - A payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price shall be required.
