The City of Citrus Heights is soliciting proposals to provide on-call fence repairs and maintenance services for the existing fence located at the Greenback Lane & Auburn Boulevard intersection. Work includes, but is not limited to, traffic control plans, removal of damaged fencing, procuring fencing materials and reinstalling median fence as needed, and other related work as needed. This Request for Proposals (RFP) defines the scope of services and outlines the requirements that must be met by proposers interested in providing such services. Proposers shall carefully examine the entire RFP and any addenda thereto, and all related materials and data referenced in the RFP or otherwise available, and shall become fully aware of the nature and the conditions to be encountered in performing the services. To be considered responsive, Proposals must be for the entire work and must include completed proposal forms, guarantees and supplemental information. This RFP is for a three-year contract with opportunities for two, one-year extensions, commencing on the date that the contract is awarded to the successful proposer. Start of Project/Notice to Proceed (tentative): July 1, 2024 In accordance with the provisions of Section 1770 of the Labor Code of the State of California, the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations has ascertained the general prevailing rate of wages applicable to the work to be done in accordance with the standards set forth in Section 1773 and which is filed in the office of the City Clerk. Minimum wage rates for this project are set forth in Section 21 of the Special Provisions. It is unlawful for any person to furnish supplies or services, or transact any kind of business in the City of Citrus Heights without possessing a City business license. Proposers shall hold a valid Class C-13 California Contractors license in good standing which shall be registered to the same individual, firm, partnership, joint venture, corporation or other legal entity as that executing the Proposal. The Contractor's license shall be valid as of the date the Proposal is submitted and such license shall be maintained in good standing for the duration of the work. The Proposer shall indicate the Contractor's license number in the space provided for that purpose on the Proposal form. The City of Citrus Heights reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to accept any or all Proposals, as deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Citrus Heights.
