Site work for a water / sewer project in Tamarac, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project will provide for Main Line Lining, Lateral Lining and MH coating following the 2012 Wastewater Master Plan completed by Mathews Consulting. This project, when completed will drastically reduce the Wastewater I&I (Inflow & Infiltration) and will reduce wastewater charges paid to Broward County, eliminating penalties incurred when the monthly wastewater flowrate exceeds our purchased capacity of 8.5 MGD. It is anticipated that the impact on the operating budget is zero. The project is included in the City's 2026-2031 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of February 24, 2026, further details have not yet been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
