Site work for a water / sewer project in Tamarac, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Provide all materials, equipment, and labor for the construction of the Walnut Creek CDD Erosion and Sedimentation Project NW 72nd Avenue Canal Improvements. The Contractor is responsible for providing all materials, equipment, and labor for the NW 72nd Avenue dredging and canal restoration as necessary to complete the project per the plans and specifications. Construction activity must be performed within the limits of the NW 72nd Avenue Canal right-of-way. Bidders must confine their bids to the project in its entirety; partial bids will not be considered. Each bidder must submit evidence of being licensed or qualified by examination to perform the required work. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or acceptable bid bond equal to at least five percent of the bid amount, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted the bidder will execute the contract and file acceptable performance and payment surety bonds equal to one hundred percent of the contract price within ten days after written notice of award. Contractors currently in default on a construction contract, in litigation with the District or another District/Municipality, or entities convicted of a public entity crime within the past 36 months may not submit a bid. No bidder may withdraw their bid for ninety days after the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities, delete any portion of the project, extend the project within the work limits, or accept or reject any or all bids. Bidders are responsible for seeking clarification in writing if inconsistencies appear in the specifications and must conduct a personal investigation as to the requirements of the District, CBWCD, and overall project. Bids must be submitted either electronically through the DemandStar E-Bid process or as hard copies in triplicate plus one electronic copy on USB flash drive, with the outside of the envelope marked accordingly. Question Deadline 03/11/2026 Any person contemplating the submission of a proposal shall have thoroughly examined all of the various parts of these documents, and should there be any doubt as to the meaning or intent of said Contract Documents, the Bidder should request the Engineer, in writing, (at least seven (7) calendar days prior to bid opening or as specified in the bid advertisement) an interpretation thereof.
