Demolition, site work and addition to a municipal facility in Hiram, Georgia. Completed plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The approximate extent and character of the Work is generally described as follows: This project consists of the construction and interior buildout of office space and breakroom area located at the Hiram Public Works Facility, located at 83 Duncan Circle, based on drawings and specifications provided by the City. Permits are required for the project and are the responsibility of the successful BIDDER. Bidders shall inform themselves concerning Georgia Laws and comply with same. The time allowed for Substantial Completion is 30 days from the date of notice to proceed. Surety and insurance companies must have an AM Best rating of A-6 or greater, be listed in the Federal Registry of Companies holding Certificates of Authority and Acceptable Sureties on Federal Bonds, be licensed by the Georgia Insurance Department and the Georgia Secretary of State to do business in the State of Georgia. Each bid must be submitted in a SEALED ENVELOPE, addressed to the OWNER. Each sealed envelope containing a Bid must be plainly marked on the outside as, "FY2024 -Public Works Facility Office Addition - #24-002." If bid is forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the Bid must be enclosed in a separate mailing envelope to the attention of the OWNER at the address previously given. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive formalities and re-advertise.
