The Iowa Department of Administrative Services will be receiving bids for the construction of a new kitchen and laundry facility at the Clarinda Correctional Facility (CCF) 2000 N. 16th St., Clarinda, IA 51632. Bid packs BP-01, BP-02, BP-03, BP-04, BP-05, BP-07and BP-08 have already been bid and not included. This bid is for bid pack BP-06 Plumbing and HVAC only. Questions must be submitted by 2:00 pm, March 22, 2024 to the Issuing Officer. For further information regarding this project contact: Michael Bradbury ñ Issuing Officer Phone: 515-823-9327 E-Mail: construction.procurement@iowa.gov The Iowa Department of Administrative Services anticipates construction to begin May 2024 and end July 2025. This project is exempt from Iowa Sales Tax. Davis Bacon Wages will not apply to this project. The Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or a certified check drawn upon a solvent bank chartered under the laws of the United States of America. The Iowa Department of Administrative Services reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive irregularities and to accept a bid that is deemed in the best interest of the State of Iowa.
