These specifications are prepared for furnish a special type, class and size cast iron frames, grates and or covers as herein specified for the City of Kenner, Department of Field Services. The only acceptable frames, grates and covers are those which are domestically manufactured. All ordered shipments are to be delivered to the City of Kenner Field Services Yard, 1905 24th Street, Kenner, Louisiana 70062 designated on each order request and within the limits of Jefferson Parish, Louisiana between the hours of 7:00 AM and 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday of the City's work week. The City of Kenner will reject or refuse any and all items which are delivered in poor or damaged condition. The vendor shall assume responsibility for the replacement of rejected items. Questions on this bid are to be emailed to FINcontracts@kenner.la.us no later than FIVE (5) working days prior to bid opening. Please reference bid number in all requests. The City of Kenner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, in whole or in part, and waive informalities. However, the provisions and requirements of the Louisiana Public Bid law, those stated in the advertisement for bids, those provided in the bid form and written specifications shall not be considered as informalities and shall not be waived by the City of Kenner. The City of Kenner reserves the right to award contracts or place orders with the lowest responsive bidder, on a lump sum or individual item basis or such combination as shall in its judgment be in the best interest of the city. Awards will be based on compliance with the specifications and the delivery and/or completion date.
