**As of June 11, 2024, project was awarded to Jefferson Asphalt Company awarded amount is $747,771.85.** 2024 Asphalt Overlay Program The Proposed Work Includes Cold Milling Existing Asphalt and Concrete Pavements and Placement of New Asphalt Throughout the County. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids and to Waive Informalities Therein, to Determine the Lowest and Best Bid and to Approve the Bond. Description. This work shall consist of preparing and treating an existing bituminous or concrete surface with a low-tracking or non-tracking tack coat material prior to an asphalt overlay in accordance with Section 407, except as revised by this specification. Plans and specifications may be viewed and downloaded online in the bids section at www.colecounty.org. A hard copy of the plans and specifications will not be provided. All contractors wishing to bid on this project shall submit the plan holder contact information form found in the specifications to ccpwprojects@colecounty.org prior to the bid opening.
