Renovation of a municipal facility in Jefferson City, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Desiccant Dehumidifier RTU and Condensing Unit. The Contract Will Require Compliance with the Wage and Labor Requirements and the Payment of Minimum Wages in Accordance With the Schedule of Wage Rates Established by the Missouri Division of Labor Standards. A Certified Check on a Solvent Bank or a Bid Bond by a Satisfactory Surety in an Amount Equal to Five (5) Percent of the Total Amount of the Bid Must Accompany Each Proposal. The City Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids and to Waive Informalities Therein, to Determine Which is the Lowest and Best Bid and to Approve the Bond. Questions Due Date: Apr 12th 2024, 4:00 PM CDT the furnishing of all material, labor, and equipment to complete the work as specified. Remove and replace dehumidifier and condensing unit at the Jefferson City Ice Arena. The dehumidifier shall be capable of automatic continuous Outdoor operation. The desiccant wheel shall be rotary vertical desiccant wheel, sorption atmospheric type capable of constant moisture output with a constant moisture inlet. All access panels shall be weather tight as to not allow temperature or moisture infiltration into the system. The dehumidifier shall be a complete factory assembled, tested unit that includes: Gas heaters for reactivation heat, TEFC motors on both process and reactivation fans, replaceable high capacity pleated filters, direct drive fans, desiccant wheel chain drive system, high capacity desiccant wheel, NEC rated electrical panel, access panels for all components, internal safeties and automatic controls. Dehumidifier shall remove 154.3 Lbs/hr of moisture from the air based on inlet conditions shown on flow diagram. The unit casing shall be constructed using a 2.4" Thermal Break unitized, internal aluminum framing, covered, riveted and welded for torsional rigidity. External skin shall be provided with 16 gauge Galvaneal steel, primed and painted with industrial marine grade enamel for long term corrosion protection. Access panels shall be double wall construction and shall use heavy-duty hinges with ½ turn compression latches fully capable of being fully tightened against gasket surfaces. Panels without gaskets shall not be acceptable. Access panels shall be large enough to access all internal components to facilitate easy replacement or maintenance. Hinges shall be installed by locating hinges no more than 36 inches on center from hinge to hinge. All major components such as coils, filters, blowers, etc., within the air handling structure shall be easily removable through access panels without dismantling plenums. Equipment that requires disassembly of components rather than access through removable or hinged panels shall not be acceptable. All open air ducts shall have rainhoods and rodent screens to prevent any water penetrations or unnecessary debris from entering unit. Electrical enclosures to be NEMA 4 construction. The reactivation shall consist of Direct Fired Gas Burner. The total heat shall consist of 579.3 CFH consist of a 20:1 Turndown ratio. Burner will automatically fire when humidity control is calling as well as reactivation fan is operating and all safeties are proven safe. Gas heaters shall be ducted to outside ambient conditions. Inlet gas pressure to be 7-13" WC and be started by a certified gas technician. High capacity pleated panel filter available in 1", 2" or 4" depths. The reactivation shall consist of Direct Fired Gas Burner. The total heat shall consist of 579.3 CFH consist of a 20:1 Turndown ratio. Burner will automatically fire when humidity control is calling as well as reactivation fan is operating and all safeties are proven safe. Gas heaters shall be ducted to outside ambient conditions. Inlet gas pressure to be 7-13" WC and be started by a certified gas technician. The work to be done under this contract includes the furnishing of all technical personnel, labor, materials, and equipment required to perform the work included in the project entitled "Project No. 97627, Desiccant Dehumidifier RTU and Condensing Unit" in accordance with the plans and specifications on file. The proposed work for this project will include the furnishing of all material, labor, and equipment to Desiccant Dehumidifier RTU and Condensing Unit.
