The project includes replacement of the existing Fire Alarm and Public Address Systems in the existing Harry S. Truman State Office Building. Including communications links between other buildings. The Work consists of replacing all existing fire alarm devices and equipment with new throughout the entire building. This will include updates and additions where required to meet all local, state, and federal codes. The work includes, but is not limited too: 1. Removing the existing fire alarm system and all related conduit and wiring. 2. Replacing the existing fire alarm system with a new addressable fire alarm system. 3. Removal and replacement of initiating and notification fire alarm devices throughout the entire building. 4. Asbestos evaluation. 5. New fire alarm conduit and wiring throughout entire building. 6. Providing new electrical circuits for the installation of new fire alarm system equipment. 7. Programming of all new fire alarm system equipment and related devices 8. Integrating the new fire alarm system to the existing Johnson Controls building management system 9. Integrating the new fire alarm system with the existing Capitol Police Monitoring system. 10. Integrating and connecting the new fire alarm system to the existing smoke evacuation system. 11. Connecting the new fire alarm system to the existing HVAC system for control. 12. Integrating the new fire alarm system with the access control system, to release locked doors during a fire alarm event. 13. Maintaining the existing systems, while new systems are installed to maintain an operational facility. 14. Repair/patch/paint walls, ceilings, and floor where old equipment is removed.
