Completed plans call for the addition of a clubhouse / community center; for the demolition of a clubhouse / community center; for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following 1. Construction of a toilet room and enclosing a corridor. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. The Project Consists Of Toilet Addition, Corridor Renovation, And new Parking Lot. A Cashier's Check Or Bid Bond payable To Fairfield City Schools in An Amount Not Less Than Five(5) Percent Of The Amount Of the Bid, But In No Event More than $10,000, Must Accompany The Bidder's Proposal. Performance And Payment Bonds and Evidence Of Insurance Required In The Bid Documents Will be Required At The Signing Of The contract. The Owner Intends To Award As ingle Contract For This Work Toa Qualified General Contractor. The Low Bidder May Be Required to Furnish Additional Evidence satisfactory To The Owner Thither And His Proposed Subcontractors Have Sufficient Experience In The Types Of Work Called for To Assure Completion Of The contract In A Satisfactory Manner And That Their Current Project workload Will Not Limit Their Capability. Bids Must Be Submitted On Proposal Forms Furnished By The architect (Engineer) Or Copies thereof. All Bidders Bidding IN amounts Exceeding That Established By The State Licensing board For General Contractors must Be Licensed Under The provisions Of Title 34, Chapter8, Code Of Alabama, 1975, And must Show Evidence Of License before Bidding Or Bid Will Not Be received Or Considered By The architect (Engineer); The Bidder Shall Show Such Evidence by Clearly Displaying His Or Percurrent License Number On The outside Of The Sealed Enveloping Which The Proposal Is Delivered. The Owner Reserves The right To Reject Any Or All Proposals And To Waive Technical Errors if, In The Owner's Judgment, The best Interests Of The Owner Will there by Be Promoted.
