As of May 30, 2024 project was awarded to Nash Industries, Inc., but awarded amount is not available. Vendor is to install thirty five (35) new detention grade stainless steel sink/tables located in the East and West Tower Jail dorms. New Detention grade covers to cover plumbing and water lines. All hardware shall be detention grade. Patch and repair existing VCT flooring and existing walls. Vendor shall also install fifteen (15) new detention grade stainless steel showers located in the West Tower. Patch and repair existing flooring and walls. Commissioners Court for permission to Negotiate: May 14, 2024 Final Contract Approval Commissioners Court: June 11, 2024 The successful firm, upon execution of agreement, will be required to provide to the Office of the County Purchasing Agent, a performance bond and a payment bond, each in the amount of 100% of the total contract sum within ten (10) calendar days after receipt of notification of bid award. Such bonds shall be executed by a corporate surety duly authorized and admitted to do business in the State of Texas and licensed in the State of Texas to issue surety bonds with a Best Rating of "A" or better. Fort Bend County reserves the right to accept or reject any surety company proposed by the Contractor. In the event Fort Bend County rejects the proposed surety company, the Contractor will be afforded five (5) additional days to submit the required bonds issued by a surety company acceptable to Fort Bend County. Fort Bend County reserves the right to reject any or all qualification statements received. Successful firm will be required to provide bonds.
