The City of Dublin, Ohio will receive electronic bids from a licensed and qualified Contractor. The bid shall include all materials and labor necessary to provide the re-construction of the Glick Road Fountain with a few added improvements to the original design. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a surety company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Payment of Prevailing Wages is required for this Project. The City of Dublin reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding process and to enter into a contract with the bidder whom, in its opinion, offers the lowest and best bid. Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Construction expected to start sometime after June 9th, 2024, to accommodate the Memorial Golf Tournament. The City of Dublin is seeking bids to provide the re-construction of the Glick Road Fountain with a few added improvements to the original design. The original construction drawings are included in the bid for reference. The pump, controls, lighting, water supply, and drain piping below the fountain needs repaired. Because the existing piping is all under the fountain, the bottom of the fountain will need to be saw cut out, piping uncovered, rerouted / repaired, and fountain basin bottom repaired, doweled in, and water stopped. The interior basin waterproofing will be a continuous epoxy / diamond bright type application, without the existing tile on the bottom. Tile will need to be re-installed around the top edge of the waterproofing where the water level should be maintained. Additionally the basin walls will have a pre-cast / cut stone cap installed along the road frontage sides of the fountain basin.
