NOTE: Contractors must pickup the plans and specs from the County and sign the Bidders sheet to be a bidder of record. Bids received from someone that has not signed the Bidders sheet will not be accepted. 2024 Stark County Mt. Pleasant Detention Basin Improvements Project. The Project shall be completed within 120 calendar days after notice to proceed is received. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty in form of: (1) a certified check, cashier s check, or letter of credit equal to 10% of the bid; or (2) a bid guaranty bond for the full amount of the bid. Both forms of guaranties as provided in Chapter 153 of the Ohio Revised Code and in the Project Specifications. The amount of the bid for said guaranty purposes shall include all additive alternates if any. All bid guaranties shall be on condition that if the bid is accepted within sixty (60) days of the bid opening, a proper Contract shall be executed, and that upon failure or refusal to enter into said Contract within ten (10) days after receipt of notification of award, the bidder and the surety on any bond shall be liable to the County in an amount not to exceed ten percent (10%) of the bid. The Stark County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, and to accept any bid or combination of bids which is deemed most favorable to the County at the time and under the conditions stipulated.
