This project consists of earthwork, erosion control, construction of approximately 4320 linear feet of 10-foot wide aggregate trail (with asphalt alternate bid), approximately 296 linear feet of prefabricated boardwalk, and minor drainage improvements. Engineer's Estimate Base Bid: $1,139,173.20 Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty, in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Each bidder shall submit either a Bid Guaranty bond in the amount of 100%, OR a certified check in the amount of 10% of the proposal, made payable to the CITY OF GREEN. A Bid Guaranty filed in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit shall be conditioned to provide that if the bid is accepted, the BIDDER will after the award of the contract, enter into a proper contract in accordance with the bid, plans, details, specifications and bills of material. If the BIDDER enters into the contract, the BIDDER shall, at the time he enters into the contract, file a bond for the amount of the contract to indemnify the OWNER against all damage suffered by failure to perform the contract according to its provisions and in accordance with the plans, details, specifications and bill of material.
