Site work for a water / sewer project in Seiling, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project includes the following Work: 1. Water: Installing miscellaneous appurtenances, fittings, fire hydrants, general trench work, installing waterlines with diameters as specified, installing steel casing as specified, and shown on Contract Drawings. 2. Sewer: Installing miscellaneous appurtenances, general trench work, trench safety, installing manholes with diameters as specified and shown in Drawings, installing sewer lines with diameters as specified and shown in Contract Drawings. The Town of Seiling/Seiling Public Works Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities or technicalities without assigning any reason therefore, and to make the awards in the best interest of the Owner. A pre-bid conference will not be conducted for this Project. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid Security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5 percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of certified check, bank money order or a Bid bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. Such Bid Bond will be issued in the form included in the Bidding Documents. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all registered plan holders. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The number of days within which, or the dates by which, the Work is to be substantially completed, are set forth in the Agreement. Provisions for liquidated damages, if any, for failure to timely attain, Substantial Completion, are set forth in the Agreement. Document note: Prospective Bidders are urged to register as a plan holder, even if Bid Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. Only Prospective Bidders who obtain Bid Documents through Parkhill will be registered as a document holder (plan holder) and will therefore automatically receive addenda if/when issued. Payment shall be by company check or cashier's check made payable to Parkhill, or by credit card. No partial sets will be issued. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bid Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.
