Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Antigo, Wisconsin. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

As of October 30, 2025, this project is on hold. No design firms or contractors have been selected. The City of Antigo is requesting proposals for a shelter design project that would include design services, bid, and some construction oversite. We will be demoing and replacing an aging restroom/shelter facility, and replacing with a new restroom/shelter/concession facility. There will be a main central, heated, and year-round section with concessions and restrooms. On either side of the main section will be two open air wings that are seasonal. The total facility length will be 120' and 40' deep. The center section will have the ability to be fully enclosed but will also have the ability to open to either of the open-air shelters (to create one large facility). Each section will have garage doors, so the facility could be fully enclosed. Attached is a facility that we completed in 2018 that has some similar concepts (minus restrooms and concession). There will be 2 phases to the project: Phase 1 will consist of the following: o Predesign Phase Services o Schematic Design Phase Services o Construction Documentation Preparation o Review of Construction Documents Phase 2 will consist of the following: o Administer Bid Process o Construction Administration o Construction Site Visits o Project Closeout Includes DSPS Agency Review Fees (building, HVAC, plumbing), and professional service fees The City of Antigo reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to accept the proposal deemed the most advantageous to the City of Antigo.
