This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for: Services to perform HMA and concrete pavement repairs on Inselruhe Ave between Central Ave and The Strand, located in Belle Isle Park in the City of Detroit, Wayne County. Work includes full lane width (1.5" Depth) milling, 1.5" HMA overlay pavement repairs, concrete hand patching, sidewalk repair, structure adjustments, pavement marking, providing traffic control, and other defined work. REQUIREMENTS The Contractor (or subcontractor) must be currently listed as a MDOT Prequalified Contractor in the following categories: Cb (Hot Mix Asphalt/Bituminous Paving) J (Concrete C, C7G, Driveways, Sidewalks) N (Pavement Marking) 1.1. Special Requirement Although Contract Activities must be completed within the timeframe specified in Section 2.1, the traffic control devices furnished by the Contractor for temporary bus stop closures and maintenance will remain in place until October 20, 2024, or as directed by the Engineer. A $2,000.00 hold will be placed and withheld from payment of the Contractor's final invoice, which will be released upon successful removal of these devices by the Contractor. The Contractor must remove devices within seven (7) calendar days of email notification from the Engineer, or MDOT will remove devices and close the project without paying the $2,000.00 to the Contractor.
