A Bid Security in the form of a bid bond will be required in the amount of 10% of the total bid. The Contractor must pay the Prevailing Wage Rates for all work per Illinois Law. The goal of the Illinois Apprenticeship Initiative is that apprentices will perform either 10% of the total labor hours actually worked in each prevailing wage classification or10% of the estimated labor hours in each prevailing wage classification, whichever is less. The Batavia Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts of thereof, or waive any irregularities or informalities, and to make the award in the best interest of the Park District.
