The Courts at Cody Park, consisting of 8 new tennis courts, 10 pickleball courts, concrete paving, fencing, soil over excavation and replacement. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, bid bond or cashier's check on a bank whose deposits are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in the amount of 5% of the Contractor's bid and must be payable without condition to the treasurer of the City of North Platte, Nebraska, as evidence of good faith of the bidder and as agreed liquidated damages to the City of North Platte, Nebraska. The bidder, whose proposal is accepted by the Mayor and City Council fails to enter into contract within ten (10) days from the Notice of Award and furnish acceptable bond to complete the work and pay for all labor and materials used, the amount of the certified check, bid bond or cashier's check shall be forfeited to the City. The City of North Platte, Nebraska, reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any or all bids.
