When using a continuous flow intersection, department officials said, motorists going straight through and turning right at a traffic signal proceed as normal, but motorists turning left make the turn before reaching the light via a dedicated traffic light approximately 300 feet to 500 feet before the intersection. . ?The NCDOT expects that Blythe will start work on the project as early as January, with completion scheduled for spring of 2030.
