The Project consists of: Renovation of restrooms at Beverly Hills High School Building A This Project is being let in accordance with the informal bid requirements of the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act ("CUPCCAA") set forth in Public Contract Code section 22000 et seq. (specifically, the informal bidding procedures in Section 22032(b)). Bidders shall comply with any requirements set forth in the CUPCCAA including all guidelines and requirements in the current California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Commission Cost Accounting Policies and Procedures Manual. All contractors submitting bids must be on the District's current list of approved contractors pursuant to Public Contract Code section 22034. All bids shall be on the forms provided by the District. Each bid must conform and be responsive to all pertinent Contract Documents, including, but not limited to, the Instructions to Bidders. In accordance with the provisions of California Public Contract Code 3300, the District requires that Bidders possess California Class B - General Building Contractor's License. Any Bidder not so duly and properly licensed shall be subject to all penalties imposed by law. No payment shall be made for work, labor, materials or services provided under the Contract for the Work unless and until the Registrar of Contractors verified to the District that the Bidder awarded the Contract is properly and duly licensed to perform the Work. The Bidder's license(s) must be active and in good standing at the time of the bid opening and must remain so throughout the term of the Contract. Contractor's Subcontractors shall also be licensed pursuant to California law for the trades necessary to perform the work called for in the Contract Documents.
