Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Yale, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Areas to be replaced are marked on the map with an X and highlighted in yellow. These areas are approximate and are better represented in the field with each concrete slab needing to be replaced marked with an orange X. There's an approximate total of 1,851sq ft needing replacement. 1. Removal of existing concrete to be included in the bid by contractor. 2. Site work to be included in the bid by contractor and new concrete to be poured in identified areas. Proper base requirements for concrete installation will be followed. Earth and debris removal will be the responsibility of the contractor. Reseeding and site restoration must be included in the bid. 3. All concrete must be six (6) inches thick, reinforced with re-rod and connected into existing sidewalks. 4. Contractor is responsible for verifying dimensions prior to submitting bid for all areas. 5. Bids are to be submitted and the contract(s) awarded on a per square foot basis. YPS reserves the right to choose areas to be completed on a per project basis. 6. Work must be completed by July 31, 2024. 7. Bid rates must be guaranteed for 90 days. The bid must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship existing between the bidder and any member of the Yale Public School Board of Education or the Superintendent.
