City of Maitland is Accepting Electronic Proposals to Provide Emergency Debris Hauling and Disposal. The City of Maitland Has Issued This Request for Proposal (Hereinafter, "Rfp") With the Sole Purpose and Intent of Obtaining Proposals From Interested and Qualified Firms Offering to Provide These Services. The City of Maitland Reserves the Right to Accept Any and All Proposals, to Waive Any Informalities and/or Re-advertise for New Proposals as May Be in the Best Interest of the City of Maitland. Scope of Work: the City of Maitland Desires to Obtain the Services of One or More Contractors Capable of Performing and Managing Disaster Debris Removal, Reduction, Disposal, and Other Emergency Cleanup Services Following a Disaster Event. Due to the Urgency and Level of Service Required Following a Disaster Event, the City Seeks Proposals From Qualified Contractors With Sufficient Experience in the Specialized Management of Disaster Response for the Purpose of Debris Removal Services During the Preparation, Response, Recovery, and Mitigation Phases of Potential Emergency Situations or Disasters. Consequently, Qualified Contractors Must Have the Capacity and Ability to Rapidly Mobilize and Respond to Potential Wide-scale Debris Volumes Related to a Natural Disaster Impacting the City as a Result but Not Limited to, Tornados, Windstorms, Tropical Storms, Hurricanes, and Brush Fires.
