Project Location: Bakersfield High School 1241 G Street Bakersfield, Ca 93301 Response Types: Line Items Type of Award: Lump Sum License Requirements: B or C9 & C35 Liquidated Damages: $1,000.00 per calendar day Estimated Bid Value: $790,000.00 Start/Delivery Date: June 3, 2024 Project Duration: 457 calendar days Bid Bond: 10.00% Payment Bond: 100.00% Performance Bond: 100.00% Pursuant to Public Contract Code section 20111.6, prequalification of the prime contractor (bidder), and of its mechanical, electrical, and plumbing ("MEP") subcontractors (C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and C-46), is required for the bidder to submit a bid on this project. Prospective bidders and their MEP subcontractors (1) are required to submit to the Owner a completed prequalification questionnaire and financial statement, on forms provided by the Owner, no later than ten business days prior to the date fixed for the public opening of sealed bids, and (2) must be announced as prequalified no later than five business days prior to the date fixed for the public opening of sealed bids. Anticipated Award Date is Monday, May 6, 2024 The contract to be awarded on this project includes provisions for assessment of liquidated damages pursuant to Government Code Section 53069.85 in the amount of $1,000.00 per calendar day per activity as defined in the Construction Manager's Construction Schedule. The Liquidated Damages will be assessed for failure to reach milestones set by the Construction Manager's Construction Schedule.
