ALL QUESTIONS TO PURCHASING SERVICES TAMMY BRADLEY PURCHASING AGENT All questions must be submitted in writing and e-mailed to the Purchasing Office at tammyb@westhartfordct.gov or faxed to 860-561-7492 at least seven calendar days prior to the date established for the opening of bids. Please do not call the Engineer/ Architect, Project Manager or Purchasing Office with questions. The Town of West Hartford is requesting sealed Bids from Qualified Disaster Debris Cleanup Contractors to facilitate the proper management and timely removal of debris generated by all significant, town wide and potentially FEMA eligible natural disasters. The goal is to establish an agreement with a qualified contractor with appropriate experience and resources to respond and provide debris collection for emergencies including, but not limited to, natural disasters and manmade disasters or events. The goal is to facilitate prompt and efficient recovery through an established agreement that is reasonable, cost effective, and protective of human health and the environment If you have questions regarding electronic submission, please do not hesitate to contact Tammy Bradley via email at tammyb@westhartfordct.gov No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after the opening of bids without the approval and written consent of the Town of West Hartford. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in the bidding and to make awards in any manner that is the most beneficial to the Town. Deviation from the "Contract Bidding Documents" may render such bids voidable at the Town's sole option. The Town of West Hartford reserves the right to accept or reject, without prejudice, any or all proposals or to waive any irregularities therein, or to accept the proposal deemed to be in the best interest of Town of West Hartford. Contractor must meet the following general qualifications: 1. Licensed to do business in the State of Connecticut 2. Able to provide services to clean up, remove, haul and dispose of Debris as defined in thisITB 3. Willing and capable of performing the services, including but not limited to, proper document preparation, management, and event closure services 4. Knowledgeable of and have experience in providing the services as described herein, and conduct its operations within the general parameters of FEMA's Public Assistance Program, unless otherwise directed by the Town 5. Capacity and resources necessary to meet all obligations of this Contract.
