This project will consist of a 3" roto-mill and repaving of 3" HMA with reinforcing fibers on 380,787 square feet on Ranches Parkway. An additional alternate add-on bid is included with the option to include an additional 39,853 square feet on west bound lanes of Pony Express Parkway at Hidden Valley Parkway intersection. This work shall be performed in the month of June with a completion date of Friday, June 28,2024. A bid or proposal must be accompanied by a bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% of Bidder's maximum bid price and in the form of a certified check or a Bid bond issued by a surety. The cost of the bid bond should be entered as a line item in the bid cost proposal. 100% Performance Bond will be posted by the approved contractor at contract signing 100% Payment Bond will be posted by the approved contractor at contract signing GENERAL The method of measurement and payment for the various items comprising the completed work follows: Payment for the items shall be compensation in full for the furnishing of all overhead, labor, material, tools, equipment, and appurtenances necessary to complete the work in a good, neat, and satisfactory manner as indicated on the Plans or as specified, with all connections, testing, painting, cleanup, and related work completed. Each item, fixture, piece of equipment, etc., shall be complete with all necessary connections and appurtenances for the satisfactory use and/or operation of said item. No additional payment, including work done by the contractor for his convenience, shall be made for work related to each item unless specifically noted or specified. Measurement shall be in place in the completed work with no allowance for waste.
