Site work and new construction of a military facility in Dodgeville, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the construction of a military facility; and for site work for a military facility.
All potential bidders must be certified by DOA prior to submitting bids on state construction projects over $50,000. Bond Notes: Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted. Base Bid will be received for: A single lump sum bid for All Work. In general, the work consists of: constructing a new building to allow staff to maintain equipment in clean, disinfected, and ready conditions. It will provide space for five DNR Bureaus: Law Enforcement, Forestry, Fisheries Management, Wildlife Management, and Water Quality. The building will be comprised of three parts: a secure law enforcement area for equipment and evidence processing; an equipment readiness and repair area with a disinfection station; and a cold storage area. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements.
