Cape Girardeau County, Missouri is seeking sealed bids for the following: BID #24-02HWY04042024HM - Plant Mix Bituminous Paving 2024, County Highway Department. The County has added an optional Asphalt Cement Price Index Adjustment to this bid proposal. The Bidder(s) must indicate on the bid form if they accept or decline the Asphalt Cement Index Adjustment. Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages, as found by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of Missouri, shall be paid to all workers performing work under this contract. Cape Girardeau County notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority firms, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award.
