Site work and paving for a road / highway in Brookings, South Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Description: Such bids are to provide for the following approximate work quantities: Furnish and Apply Seal Coat CRS-2P: 242 Tons; Furnish and apply Quartzite Chips: 2,010 Tons, Furnish and Apply Fog Seal: 11,725 gallons; Furnish and Apply Sand Blotter: 168 tons. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, or draft for five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Such check shall be certified or issued by either a State or National Bank, and payable to the City of Brookings, South Dakota. In lieu of a check, a bid may contain a bid bond for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid. Such bond to be issued by a surety authorized to do business in this State and payable to the City of Brookings, South Dakota. liquidated damages for delay (but not as a penalty) Contractor shall pay Owner $650.00 for each day that expires after the time (as duly adjusted pursuant to the Contract) specified above for Completion.
