Upgrades to University of Toronto Buildings. The projects will range in scope and size to any of the following demolition, renovation, alterations, additions, major renovations, and new construction of mechanical, electrical, and secondary systems. mechanical and electrical mechanical and electrical Recommendations for mechanical and electrical improvement and energy conservation at each building outlining the method and types of either replacement technology, including those Listed, or Designated historical buildings. For heritage buildings, the prime consultant to retain an independent firm specializing in heritage buildings (separate itemized cost of base contract price) to provide review/recommendations on type and approach for new windows in Listed or Designated historical building. The heritage consultant to liaise with Toronto Heritage Board to create Heritage report for obtaining Heritage permit. TIMELINE: The University of Toronto herein referred to as U of T is seeking the services of a qualified Consultant and Engineering firm to provide buildings mechanical and electrical asset condition review, design/bid document preparation, tendering support, contract administration (project management/site reviews and project coordination) of work for their on- going Building Mechanical and electrical Programas. The prime consultant should note their fees as a separate itemized cost on RFP proposal. Prime consultant to provide a mock-up of recommended type of replacement/refurbishment building component for review and approval. Construction budget estimates associated with the recommended option at each building along with lead-time of each option delivery. Consultant to represent U of T in meetings with the contractor; weekly site visits and manage the construction under provisions of CCDC2 or such other agreements throughout duration of the project on behalf of the University. Estimated Commencement date: May 1, 2024 Estimated Completion date: May 1, 2027 With an option in favour of the University to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for two (2) additional terms of a one (1) year term.
