Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Kenora, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
Demolition of the existing rink slab and dasher boards, installation of underfloor heating pipes, in-slab cooling pipes, new floor slab, and new dasher board system including all ancillary components such as modification of the header trench, ice access ramp, and refrigeration plant. The Tenderer is required to submit with its Tender, a Consent of Surety and a Bid Bond in a form acceptable to the CITY, or in lieu of a Bid Bond, a Tenderer may submit, along with a Consent of Surety, a certified cheque or an irrevocable letter of credit in favour of the CITY equal to 10% of the Tender Sum as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract for the Work, the Tenderer will execute a contract and submit the Performance Bond and the Labour and Material Payment Bond referred to in Article 10 within the specified time frames.
