Replacement of Christian Street over Bee Brook Each Bidder must deposit with his/her bid a certified check, or a bid bond, for not less than five percent (5%) of the bid as provided in the Information for Bidders. A certified check will not be accepted in lieu of a Bid Bond. NO PROPOSAL WILL BE ACCEPTED UNLESS ACCOMPANIED BY THE REQUIRED BID BOND. The Town reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids should it be in the Town's best interest to do so. The Contractor chosen for the project shall be required to furnish 100% Performance and Labor and Material bonds and proof of required insurance coverage. A Maintenance Bond, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the contract sum shall be required after completion of the work and prior to final payment. This Contract is Subject to State Set-aside and Contract Compliance Requirements The right is reserved to reject any or all bids in whole or in part, to award any item, group of items, or total bid and to waive any informality or technical defects, if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Washington. No Bidder may withdraw their bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
