Question Submission Deadline:March 25, 2024, 8:00am The Town of New Milford is soliciting competitive bids from qualified firms for miscellaneous environmental services. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids in part or in whole. The Municipality reserves its right to consider informal any bid not prepared and submitted in accordance with the provisions hereof and may waive any informalities or reject any and all bids. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of bids or the authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered or accepted through OpenGov Procurement. No bidder may withdraw a bid within 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Municipality may accept or reject any or all bids or any portions thereof and take any action deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. The bidder understands that, in addition to the bid specifications, all bids are subject to the terms, provisions and conditions of the New Milford "Municipal Purchases" Ordinance, set forth in Article III, Section 2-92 (a) through (o) inclusive, of the Code of New Milford. Profile, transport, and dispose of three (3) 55-gallon drums of speedi-dri and soil as non-hazardous PCB remediation waste <50 mg/kg PCBs to the Casella Ontario County Landfill in New York per the EPA approved PCB Self-Implementing Plan. Assess and abandon-in-place one (1) 10,000-gallon former water tank. In coordination with TRC Environmental Corporation expose select areas of buried drainage piping, allow TRC to collect soil samples, and backfill excavation with excavation spoils.
