Reference Number 0000266608 Question Acceptance Deadline Apr 10, 2024 02:00 PM ADT 1. The Supplier Shall Make Available Appropriately Skilled and Licensed Workers or Sub- Contractors (Only to One Level Beyond Their Self-performance, Required to Be Identified to Bgis) and Must Provide the Necessary Training, Expertise, Personal Protective Equipment (Ppe), Materials, Tools, Equipment, Machinery, Supplies and Facilities to Fulfill Its Obligations Under the Agreement the Supplier Shall Be Responsible for Its Own Staff Resources and for the Staff Resources of Any Sub-contractors The Key Expectations Under the Agreement Include but Are Not Limited to the Following: The Clearing and Removal of Snow and Ice From the Premises. Clearing of Snow and Ice to Provide Permanent Access to Fire Hydrants, Gas Meters, Parking Gates and Equipment Located Along the Areas to Be Cleared of Snow or Ice. All Signage is to Be Kept Free of Obstructions. The Supply, Handling and Spreading of Salt and Anti-icing Materials on the Premises, Including on Access and Exit Roads to Parking Facilities, in Order to Keep the Same Free of Snow and Ice. The Annual Date of Commencement May Be Advanced, or the Completion Date Extended in the Event of an Early or Late Winter Storm, for Any Year During the Agreement as Requested by Bgis Without the Payment of Additional Compensation to the Supplier. The Supplier Shall Fully Manage the Snow and Ice Requirements as Further Detailed Herein, as of the First Snow and Ice Management Requirement Until the Last Requirement as Determined by Trends and Weather Forecast Per Region of Service. As Such the Season Start and End Dates Have Not Been Predetermined. 2. Unless Otherwise Specifically Documented Herein, or in an Attached Schedule, Exhibit, or Appendix Forming Part of the Agreement, the Supplier Shall Completely Clear Snow, Slush and Ice, Supply and Spread Salt, Sand, Approved Ice Melter, or a Mixture of Sand and Approved Ice Melter to Prevent Slippery Conditions on All Areas Including but Not Limited to All Driveways, Parking Lot/parking Areas, Around Fire Hydrants, Sidewalks, Entranceways, Loading Docks, Around Waste and/or Recycling Bin Areas and Trucking/loading Areas, at the Location(S) Set Out Herein. Supplier Shall Also Clear Accumulated Snow and Ice That Presents a Hazard Above Pedestrian Areas at the Location(S) Set Out Herein, and Ensure That Sewers and Manhole Covers, Fire Hydrants and All Emergency Exits, and Entrances Are Free From Ice, Snow and Obstruction at All Times. 3. Use of Blades on Sidewalks and Walkways Near Building Entrances is Not Permitted. Suppliers Shall Only Use Ice-melters (Non-corrosive Product) Near Building Entrances to Prevent Damage to the Same.
