2024 Residential Sidewalk Repair Program The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and other miscellaneous items to remove existing sidewalk, curb and gutter, pavement, subgrade; prep subgrade, place and compact top course, construct cement concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk; curb ramps, and drive approaches; install asphalt. Schedule "B" requires the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and other miscellaneous items for transit stop improvements. Schedule "C" and "D" are the City of Ellensburg's street related concrete work and utility related concrete work respectively, and shall be used throughout the year on an as needed basis. The Bid Additive requires the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and other miscellaneous items to remove existing sidewalk, curb and gutter, pavement, subgrade; prep subgrade, place and compact top course, construct cement concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk, curb ramps, and construct drive approaches; install asphalt; completing one half block of Alder Street. No bidder may withdraw their bid after the hour set for the opening thereof or before the award of contract, unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty days. Each bid shall be plainly marked "2024 Residential Sidewalk Repair Program - Bid Call #: 2024-01". All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in a cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Ellensburg. The engineer's estimate for the project is $225,000 to $375,000, plus tax (if applicable). The City of Ellensburg, Washington, reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities in the bid or in the bidding. Responsibility and competency of bidders and their subcontractors will be considered in making the award. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
