The scope of the project includes the replacement of the following water lines with new ANSI/AWWA C900/HDPE lines, utilizing directional boring methods for installation. 1. Replace the existing 1-inch water line from the current hydrant along Mondon Hill Rd. to the west side of Markham Lane with a 6-inch ANSI/AWWA C900/HDPE fused line (approximately 460 feet). 2. Reconnect all existing services to the new line. 3. Install a fire hydrant (American Darling) with a shut-off valve and an isolation valve at the northwest corner of Markham Lane and Mondon Hill Rd. 4. Replace existing water lines along Markham Lane (various sizes) with a 4-inch ANSI/AWWA C900/HDPE fused line (approximately 1000 feet). 5. Replace all service lines with 1-inch polyethylene (poly) pipe, CTS size from the new line to the meters. 6. Install a 4-inch gate valve at the junction where a 4-inch line connects to a 6-inch line at Mondon Hill Rd. 7.
