This Scope of Work is Intended to Provide Vulnerable Clients With Flooring That is Easy to Maintain.
The Thirty Suites Are Smaller Than a Studio Approximately 356 Sq Ft Will Be Occupied for the Duration of the Project. Please Note Bidders Are Required to Measure Each Unit for Accurate Square Footage.
There is a High Probability That the Apartments Will Have Bed Bugs. Manitoba Housing Treats Suites Each Month to Control/eradicate the Pests.
The Bidders Will Be Required to Move Furniture Within the Apartment While They Install the New Flooring.
All Old, Carpeted Flooring Will Be Bagged and Removed From Premises Daily. Bidders Are Not Allowed to Use the on-site Bins for Disposal, Must Provide Own Way of Disposal From Site.
Quote Will Include the Cost of Material, Labor and Pst, Manitoba Housing is Gst Exempt.
Bidders Will Provide a Detailed Construction Schedule Detailing How the Project Will Be Completed. (I.e., Remove All the Old Flooring and Install New or Complete One Unit at a Time) Flooring
Remove, Wrap and Dispose of the Old Carpet Flooring in the Living Room and Bedroom, Wrap in Plastic Bags Before Removing From the Premises.
Scrape and Remove All Glue to Provide a Smooth Surface to Receive the New Flooring (and Ensure Good Adhesion). Supply and Install Vct Tile (Armstrong Commercial Sandrift White M352) Flooring in the Living Room and Bedroom Area.
Upon Completion of the Flooring in the Suite, Thoroughly Wash and Clean the Flooring and Apply (if Applicable) by Manufacturers Specifications Minimum of Two Coats of Wax Sealer.
Supply and Install New Four-inch Beige Base in the Living Room and Bedroom Only.
Supply and Install Transition Strips Between the Living Room and Kitchen, Hallway and Bedroom and Bathroom and Bedroom. Question Acceptance Deadline: 2024/04/18 04:00:00 PM CDT Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
